Meeting called to order at 12:05 by Linda Labor, President

All campsites have been reserved at Silver River State Park.  Cabins are available.  Linda has not received a
response as of yet from the Ocala Jeep club on hotel information.  When we receive the information, it will get
posted on the website.  Linda passed out flyers for Octoberfest that will be posted on the web as well

Linda received an email from the Mopar/AMC car show and invited us to participate.  There will be 100 wall
plaque trophies awarded.  There will be a flyer posted on the website.  It will be in Woodmere park on
Jacaranda in Venice on December 4th from 10am to 3pm.  Club will supply meat, etc for cookout

Linda had more flyers made up to pass out for our club

The next few social's will be 10/6 @ TGIFriday's, 10/13@ Rib City in Venice, 10/20 @ Beef O'Brady's, 10/27
@ Whiskey Creek and 11/3 @ Applebee's

Linda will be ordering our t-shirts on Monday from Jackson Tools.  The shirts will be gray for this order and will
take approximately a week to get.  Future orders will include some different colors and possibly pockets on the
shirts.  We will keep our account with Cafepress so members can order other miscellaneous items like hats,
mugs, tank tops, etc.  The purchase price for extra shirts will be 10 dollars.  Each membership will receive one
for free.  We will also be getting stickers as well

Our club has offically joined the Florida Four Wheel Drive Association and will get a sticker for their Jeeps.  We
received 32 stickers and Rick will be checking to see if we can get more

We are looking to find out how many members are interested in taking a CPR class.  Our new member, Kate
Taylor is certified to teach CPR and has volunteered to give the class

Kevin will check out Cecil Webb to make sure it is open for our November trail ride.  We will be inviting
Caloosa Jeep Club for a ride at Cecil Webb the near future

Linda sent a Thank You email to Caloosa for our joint ride in September at Lehigh.  The ride went very well and
we look forward to future joint rides

Tarin and Yale will try to book the FOP Lodge for us again this year for our Christmas party.  In the past we
have had a charitable project.  Unless we are asked by some organization in the community, we will count our
generous donation to the Red Cross and Salvation Army as our charity this year

Linda received a letter from Off-Roader Magazine and they wanted to know if we were going to do a Show and
Shine this year and she will let them know there is not one planned for 2006 but maybe 2007 and will let them
know.  They placed our Show and Shine in their events listing

November 12th is Plantation Jeep Club's Show and Shine

We will be getting more information on a possible January ride in Avon Park with Caloosa Jeep Club

We will be marking the Membership Roster to show people that have shown interest in impromptu rides and
night rides

In January, we will start having "not off-road" day trip rides to different places within approximately 2 hours ride
one way.  These will probably take place on the 2nd or 4th Sunday of the month

Kevin suggested another New Year's Eve at Linda and Hans' house for a bonfire and chili party or to the
Charlotte County Speedway for Eve of Destruction

Have not decided nor know the date of participating in the Punta Gorda Christmas Parade this year

Possible group get together for the Halloween walk through in Punta Gorda on Halloween

December 18th will be our off-road ride for that month

Our 50-50 winner was Linda Labor with a split of 22.50 to Linda and 22.50 to the club

Club decided to go to Applebee's for lunch
