Minutes - January 8, 2006
Called to order at 12:15 - 18 members present

Meeting led by Treasurer, Rick Thorpe.

Socials for month of January are as follows:

Upcoming events and rides:
1/13 through 1/15 - Avon Park Camping
Camping with Caloosa and Lakeland Jeep Clubs at Avon Park.  Day riders to meet at
7:30am at Cracker Barrel on Kings Highway in Port Charlotte to have breakfast before we
hit the road.  Campers that are going up on Friday night, need to be checked in before
7pm.  Kandis will be checking into hotels in nearby Sebring.  Any questions, contact Linda
Labor or Kevin Way.

Future Ride calendar
January - Camping on the weekend of the 13th at Avon Park
February - Fort Pierce Show and Shine.  Day trip to meet at Cracker Barrel at
6:30am to leave by 6:45am
March - Trip to Croom has been cancelled.  Maybe try to arrange a
joint ride with Caloosa Jeep Club
April - Suncoast Flatlanders Show and Shine.  Details to follow.
May - 10th through the 14th. Tellico Trip.  Camping and cabins available at Crawfords
Camp.  See Jim Wolcott or Kevin Way for details.
May - Jeep Beach in Daytona.  Details to follow.

Florida 4WD Association asked us for a donation for their raffle at the Ocala Campout
1/13 - 1/15.  Club voted to send $50.00 gift certificate from Quadratec.

Rick suggested committee meeting for Trailmaster group.

Dues are due.  Katie has sent e-mails (for those that have e-mail) out to remind members
that are due.

Corey is looking into River Ranch for trail rides.

Shirts are available.

Rick suggested a picture library of members with their Jeeps.

Mark's mother made key fobs with Peace River Jeepers on them in different colors and
will make more to sell to the club members.  Mark is taking orders

There will be a wrenching party and Heidi and Andrew Ganski's house on January 22nd.  
Need volunteers.  Directions will be sent to those attending.  Hans also volunteered his
place for anyone that needs to work on their Jeep as well.
