Upcoming Events July 15th - CERT Practical July 15th - Suncoast Flatlanders Show and Shine at the Bradenton Sonic Joint campout/canoeing trip with Fort Pierce - July DeSoto Speedway - August 15th September - Florida Aquarium October will be Jeeptoberfest in Ocala Plantation Show and Shine - November Christmas Party - December Linda gave a report on CERT training. 7 members participated. Linda asked if additional members were interested. Linda congratulated everyone who took the course. Yale explained what we learned at the training. The members that took the course were Linda, Hans, Beth, Jim, Brent, Cathy and Kevin. Suncoast Flatlanders invited us to their show and shine that will be held at the Sonic in Bradenton on July 15th starting at 5pm and ending ???. The club members that are going will meet at Beef's at 4pm and convoy up. We had an inquiry from the Jeepers Jeep Club for a joint campout/canoe trip in July. Linda has sent emails but have not received any replies yet. 4 X 4 swap meet on July 22nd in Holly Hill Linda suggested a cookout/campout at the Myakka State Park for the fall Linda suggested joint rides with Caloosa Jeep Club Friday, July 14th is the Crash-A-Rama at the DeSoto Speedway. Brent to check out the details. Possible rides with Caloosa in August. The 13th would be Immokalee and the 30th Bonita Springs September would be ride with Caloosa and campout in Ocala on 9/2-9/4 or possibly the Florida Aquarium October is Jeeptoberfest in Ocala. November is Plantation's Show and Shine. December would be a joint ride and campout in Cecil Webb with possible swap meet with other invited clubs. January, camping in Ocala Jeff and Colleen Anderson won a raffle at Jeep Beach in Daytona for $100 off a compressor with Extreme Outback Products. We will be raffling off at the social at Beef O'Brady's on the 27th Larry Crawford suggested another trip to Tellico Jim and Beth will be holding a 4th of July party at their house after the meeting starting at 4pm There is a Bikini Top for $75 that fits up to an '02.
