| Meeting was led by Yale Houghton, President Meeting Start Time: 11:04am 11 members present Officers present were Yale, Tod, Kerri and Katie Kerri gave the treasurer's report Yale talked about the Eastern Jeep Safari the weekend of March 28th. Last time they had a night ride/poker run and did some exploring of the Florida caves. The Spring Scramble will be April 18-20th in Ocala. They will be doing an extreme makeover for someone. Douglas Jeep has agreed to let us do flyers for the salesman's desks and stuffers. They will also provide their establishment for a show/shine or meet/greet if we can do it on a Saturday so they can participate with us. We have not yet heard anything back from Palm Jeep. Tod will keep trying. Jonathan Brown had also suggested that we see about doing flyers, etc. for the Jeep dealership in DeSoto County as well. Yale will be looking into the information for the Adopt-A-Road program and see what may be available for us and how to go about it. Kerri brought up an idea on having us put our club logo in some Tervis Tumblers that we can give to club members with they join or for purchase along with shirts and things. Also have the small stickers that we can have members put on their Jeeps with hash marks or such for how many years they have been part of the club. Jerry brought a shirt to show us from Top Tops that had a logo on it that was sort of raised (puffed). They may be an alternative to Jackson's. Brent has the Cowbell, key and stickers We will also be looking into trademarking our club name and logo Our next social will be at Buffalo Wild Wing's in North Port on March 27th |
